The Green Sewing Shop

'The Green Sewing Shop' is a retail outlet run by The National Needlework Archive [Registered Charity No. 1136942]. 

The shop sells recycled donated haberdashery, fabrics and related items together with textile related books, some new craft items and finished goods.

The National Needlework Archive keeps photographic and documentary records of textiles in public places as well as textile collections and libraries. Our hub location in Newbury, Berkshire hosts exhibitions, conservation rooms, a cafe, and a shop.

Our new Southampton shop in Unit 15 at The Marlands will be a great location to buy very reasonably priced sewing and craft supplies and to participate in hands-on, fun, learning workshops.

Donated textile related items for our shop, or our museum, are always welcome.
